What is the booking process? (1) Call/email for date inquiry and receive a basic info sheet. (2) Book a consultation/cake tasting. (3) Sign a contract and pay deposit which secures the date. (4) Payment due in full 30 days from your special occasion. (5) The special cake of your dreams arrives at your venue!

 

How soon should I place my order? As soon as possible. Some dates book as far as a year out. 

 

What can I do to secure my date? If you're not able to book a consultation right away, your date can be secured with a deposit. Call for more info. You have up to one month prior to your event to finalize your design.

 

Do you rent cake stands? Yes, I have several cake stands to choose from.

 

Can I use my own cake stand? Yes! We can make sure the dimensions are correct during consultation.

 

Do you make cakes other than wedding cakes?  YES!!

 

Do you offer tastings? Complimentary consultations are done by appointment only. The rest of the week is dedicated to working on special cakes for the weekend.

 

Do you do groom's cakes? Yes, anything and everything you could imagine! From interests to hobbies to careers--whatever the groom wants. Even a basic traditional groom cake with chocolate-dipped strawberries. Many brides even surprise their grooms.

 

Do you make sugar-free or gluten-free cakes? Yes, please ask during your consultation for more details.

 

How is the cake delivered? All cakes are delivered and hand-assembled on-site on your wedding day or special event.

 

Am I restricted to one flavor? No, we can do multiple flavors in one cake.

 

Can you make a cake for my outdoor wedding? Yes! We have done many outdoor weddings. If your date is during the summer, the cake could be delivered at a later time (possibly during the ceremony) to avoid any damage from heat/humidity.

 

Do you travel? Yes! I am frequently traveling the state of Alabama and surrounding states. 

 

Can I pick up my cake? Due to the complexity of most of my cakes it is preferred that the cake be delivered. Some cakes are available for pick up if there is little to no assembly of the cake needed onsite.

 

Do you cut the cake? No, I do not provide a cake-cutting service. Check with your caterer or venue.
